Birch vs Wevion is the question many media buyers ask once they notice that Revealbot now goes by a new name. Birch is the product Revealbot became, and today it is more than a rules engine: it has an AI rule builder, an MCP server, Explorer for creative insights, Stage for launching ads from Google Drive and Hub for Meta server-side tracking. Wevion takes a different shape, with six ad platforms in one view, a bulk launcher and an approval-first AI copilot. This guide compares the two as they are on 22 October 2026, using Birch's own pages as the source for every Birch fact.

If you want the older history, our Wevion vs Revealbot automation comparison covers the rules engine before the rebrand, and the Revealbot alternatives roundup ranks the wider field. This article is the direct head-to-head with Birch as it ships now.

Quick answer

Choose Birch if your spend sits on Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat, rule logic is the centre of your workflow, and you want custom metrics fed from attribution tools like AppsFlyer, Adjust or Hyros. Birch's rule depth is a genuine strength, and its spend-based pricing starts low.

Choose Wevion if you also buy on native platforms like Taboola and Outbrain, want to launch campaigns in bulk across platforms from one grid, need profit (not just ROAS) from Shopify or WooCommerce, or want an AI copilot that proposes changes you approve.

Wevion is an ad operations platform that connects Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat and Outbrain through their official APIs, syncs them into one view about every 15 minutes, and adds a bulk launcher, rules you approve, profit tracking and Wavo, the AI copilot, on top of that shared data.

Rules and automation

Rules are where Birch is strongest, and it says so with detail. Its rules page lists nested AND/OR logic, ranking conditions based on relative performance, metric-to-metric comparisons, custom timeframes and custom metrics built as formulas. You can choose from "more than 20 actions" and combine several in one rule, and rules run "every 15 minutes, or custom schedule". The homepage adds that a metric can be compared with its own value in a previous period or with the top 10 for that metric, and that one rule can apply across several accounts. There is also a library of pre-built strategies such as day parting and ad set scaling.

Wevion's rules act on conditions you set: pause a losing ad, move budget, flag a spike. They check every 30 minutes by default and can be tightened to 15. Every rule can be dry run first, so you see which campaigns would have been touched before anything changes. In beta, rules can compare platforms against each other on Meta, Google, TikTok and Taboola, for example moving budget towards whichever channel holds the lower cost per purchase. Our case study on moving off Revealbot shows what replacing four separate rule stacks with one policy looks like in practice.

The honest summary: if your work is mostly writing sophisticated single-platform rules with custom metrics, Birch offers more knobs and a faster default schedule. If your rules need to see across channels, or you want a dry run on every rule, Wevion is built around that. For a wider view of the category, see our Meta ads auto rules tools guide.

AI: Birch AI vs Wavo, the AI copilot

Birch AI is an assistant inside the Birch platform. You describe a goal, it turns it into an automation rule, explains the logic and drafts it in your workspace. Drafts are not switched on automatically: the interface shows a "Review and set live rule" step. Birch AI also answers performance questions across platforms, time ranges and campaign levels, and audits your existing rule setup for wasted spend. Rule impact analysis is listed as coming soon. Birch states "No external sharing. No training on your account."

Wavo, the AI copilot in Wevion, starts from your connected accounts rather than from a rule. It reads performance across your platforms and proposes concrete changes, such as pausing an ad set, shifting budget or duplicating a winner. Nothing happens until you approve it. You can pick the mode that suits the task, as explained in our guide to choosing your Wavo mode.

So the two AIs aim at different jobs. Birch AI is a rule author and analyst; Wavo is a copilot for day-to-day account decisions. Both keep a person in the loop.

MCP: connecting your AI assistant

Both products now offer a Model Context Protocol server, which lets an MCP-compatible AI assistant talk to your ad data.

Birch MCP "brings your rule setup, execution logs, and account structure to the AI tools you work with." Most of its tools are read-only: rules, logs, folders, workspaces, ad accounts, metrics, Stage tasks and help search. Six rule-management tools can write, letting you enable, disable, rename, duplicate or move a rule and change its ad accounts or entity filters. Birch's own FAQ is clear that it "cannot create new rules, edit budgets or rule conditions, or change other account settings." Rule editing with an approval step is listed as in progress.

Wevion's MCP server and CLI are available from the Pro plan and cover the same six platforms as the app, so your assistant or your own scripts can work with cross-channel data from outside the dashboard. If MCP is new to you, our explainer on Meta's support for AI connectors and MCP covers how it works and why the connection method matters.

Platforms

Birch lists Meta (with Instagram), Google Ads, Snapchat Ads and TikTok Ads in its navigation and on its integrations page. Stage, its launcher, supports Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, with one Google Sheet per platform.

Wevion connects six platforms: Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat and Outbrain. Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat connect through official OAuth, and everything is synced into one view about every 15 minutes. If native advertising is part of your mix, Taboola and Outbrain are the main platform difference between the two. Our guide to managing ads across multiple platforms goes deeper on running one operation across channels.

Creative

Explorer is Birch's visual reporting tool. It helps you "track ad performance, spot fatigue, find top assets", with templates for fatigued and downtrending ads, best video formats, performance by placement and A/B test results. You can benchmark ads individually or group them by creative, post ID or custom filters, bring in data from Google Sheets, Wicked Reports, Hyros and AppsFlyer, and turn a report into a rule. For creative analysis, it is a capable tool.

Stage handles production at scale on the launch side: each Google Sheet row becomes an ad, up to 1,000 rows per run, built from media in Google Drive, previewed before launching as active or paused.

Wevion approaches creative from the making side. Creative Hub generates AI images for your ads, with UGC-style video in beta, and the bulk launcher pushes those assets into campaigns across platforms. Creative performance then sits in the same view as everything else. If your question is "which creatives are tiring?", Explorer is well suited. If it is "how do we produce and launch more variants across channels?", Wevion's flow covers more of that path. Our roundup of bulk campaign launchers compares launch tools in more depth.

Analytics and profit

Birch's analytics lean on ad platform data plus the external sources you connect: Google Analytics, Google Sheets and attribution tools such as Hyros, AppsFlyer, Adjust and Wicked Reports. Hub adds server-side tracking for Meta, sending events through the Conversions API from your own gateway server. If Meta signal quality is a priority, Hub is a useful piece that Wevion does not offer.

Wevion's Profitability Analytics, in beta, connects Shopify or WooCommerce to calculate true profit and POAS (profit on ad spend) after product costs, not just ROAS. For affiliates and lead generation, Keitaro and other trackers feed conversions back into the same view. Birch's public pages do not describe a store-level profit calculation, so if margin is your main metric, this is a real difference. Our article on why your ROAS does not match your profit explains why that gap matters.

Agencies and teams

Birch offers workspaces from its Essential plan, rules that can cover several ad accounts, and Enterprise extras like onboarding and tech setup help, according to its pricing page.

Wevion gives agencies team roles and a workspace per client, so a junior buyer can work on one client without seeing the others, and reporting can span every platform a client runs on. See how agencies use this in our piece on cross-channel reporting for agencies.

Pricing model

At the time of writing, 22 October 2026, Birch's pricing page lists three plans: Essential, Pro and Enterprise. In its words, "The pricing is based on your monthly ad spend across all ad accounts you've connected to Birch." The page shows prices in US dollars per month that move with a spend selector (the default shows "up to $10K" in monthly spend), Enterprise is quoted on request, and going over your plan's spend limit adds a fee. Automated rules, Explorer, Launcher and Stage appear in the Pro feature list. Birch's 14-day free trial needs no credit card; when it ends, rules and reports are paused until you choose a plan.

Wevion prices by plan, not by spend: Starter, Pro and Plus, with Enterprise on request. The current figures are on the Wevion pricing page. The practical difference is simple. With Birch, a strong month that raises your spend can raise your bill. With Wevion, the bill follows the plan you pick. For small budgets on Birch's four platforms, Birch will often be the cheaper option; for larger spend spread across many accounts and platforms, a flat plan can be easier to forecast. Our Birch comparison page keeps a feature-by-feature table.

Who should choose which

Birch fits better if you:

  • run only Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat
  • want deep rule logic with ranking, metric-to-metric conditions and custom formula metrics
  • feed rules with AppsFlyer, Adjust, Hyros or Wicked Reports data
  • want Meta server-side tracking through Hub
  • spend modestly and prefer a price that starts low and scales with spend

Wevion fits better if you:

  • buy on Taboola or Outbrain as well as social and search
  • launch campaigns in bulk across several platforms
  • want rules that compare platforms against each other (in beta), with a dry run first
  • judge campaigns on profit and POAS from Shopify or WooCommerce (in beta)
  • want Wavo, the AI copilot, to propose changes you approve
  • manage several clients with roles and a workspace each

Many teams will find the decision comes down to two questions: how many platforms you run, and whether you measure success on ROAS or on profit.
