What the MCP server is

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude or Cursor connect to external tools and data. The Wevion MCP server exposes your account (campaigns, ad accounts, insights) as tools the AI can query and use: ask your assistant to analyze performance or act on your campaigns in natural language, without opening the dashboard.

Get connected in three steps

    Choose how you connect

    Two paths, and your client decides which. A client that adds Wevion from its connector directory signs you in with your Wevion account and asks you to approve the scopes, so no key changes hands; that path is not open yet. For any client you configure yourself, and for the CLI, generate an API key from the API keys section with the team you want MCP to use selected: the key carries that team. Keys created earlier still work if your account reaches a single team; with more than one, create a new key with the right team selected.

    Add the remote MCP server

    In your MCP client, add a remote server using the Streamable HTTP (POST) transport and the x-api-key header with your key. A directory connector points at the same endpoint and signs in instead of sending a header.
