Dolphin Cloud Alternative: Six Ad Platforms From One Panel
Lena Brandt
Ad Policy & Compliance Analyst
Dolphin Cloud alternatives get searched when the bottleneck moves. The browser part of the job — profiles, proxies, sessions — is solved. What is not solved is the part that comes after: a second ad network in the plan, a rule that should have fired at three in the morning, and the question of what any of it actually made after refunds and COGS.
Quick answer: Dolphin Cloud works at the browser layer and reaches any website, including ones with no API at all. Wevion works at the API layer: six ad platforms — Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat, Outbrain — in one panel, rules evaluated every 15 minutes that can act on contribution margin, Budget Pools that redistribute one daily budget every eight hours, and ten tracker adapters putting revenue next to the spend. Different layers, and a fair number of teams run one of each.
This article is for people who already know what an anti-detect browser is for and are asking what the next layer looks like. I will explain what Dolphin Cloud does, where it stops, and what an API platform does with the half of the work it cannot reach.
I will also be specific about where Dolphin Cloud does something we do not — because there are such things, and you would find them in the first week anyway.
For a broader look at how the browser layer and the API layer divide the work, see our comparison of anti-detect tracker stacks vs Wevion.
What Is Dolphin Cloud and Why Do Media Buyers Use It?
Dolphin Cloud is an anti-detect browser — a specialized tool that creates isolated browser profiles, each with a unique digital fingerprint. Every profile simulates a different device, operating system, screen resolution, timezone, WebGL hash, and dozens of other browser properties that websites use to identify users.
Media buyers use Dolphin Cloud for multi-identity browsing: holding many sessions open on one machine, each isolated from the others, across ad platforms, marketplaces, exchanges and ordinary websites. It is a browser problem, and Dolphin Cloud is built to solve it.
The typical Dolphin Cloud workflow looks like this:
- Configure a browser profile for each session with its own fingerprint settings
- Assign a proxy to each profile so each one carries its own IP and geolocation
- Log into each account through its dedicated profile
- Warm the profile before it does real work
- Manage campaigns through the platform's own interface, inside each browser session
Steps 1 to 4 are infrastructure. Step 5 is the actual work — and step 5 is where an API platform changes the shape of the day.
Where the Browser Layer Stops
None of this is a criticism of Dolphin Cloud. It is a description of what a browser can and cannot be asked to do.
The interface is the ceiling
An RPA macro replays clicks at the speed a person clicks. Creating fifty campaigns takes fifty campaigns' worth of interface time, and when a layout moves — a renamed field, a new confirmation dialog — the script needs rebuilding. An API call either succeeds or returns an explicit error; it does not quietly do the wrong thing to a live budget.
And there is no rule that fires at 3am. Automation at the browser layer is a script you trigger, not a condition evaluated against live metrics on a cadence.
The real cost is the maintenance, not the subscription
Most people compare subscription prices and stop there. Here is what the line actually looks like:
| Cost Component | Monthly Estimate |
|---|---|
| Dolphin Cloud subscription | $50-200/month |
| Residential proxies (5-20 profiles) | $100-500/month |
| Time spent on profile management | 5-15 hours/month |
| Re-warming and re-authenticating sessions | Recurring, unbudgeted |
The subscription is the smallest number on the list. Proxies frequently cost more than the browser itself, and the hours do not appear on any invoice — which is exactly why they get left out of comparisons.
One account at a time, by construction
Every session in Dolphin Cloud needs:
- A configured browser profile with its own fingerprint settings
- A dedicated proxy
- Manual session management — logging in, verifying, clearing state
- Campaign work through the platform's own interface, per profile
- No cross-account view and no bulk operation above the browser
Compare that to connecting an ad account with an OAuth click and working on all of them in one panel.
The money is not in the interface it is driving
This is the part that decides most switches. The ad manager knows the spend. It does not know your net revenue, your COGS, your shipping, your processing fees or your refunds — so the answer to "did this make money" is assembled somewhere else, by hand, every Monday.
Wevion: The Same Work, One Layer Up
Wevion does not try to be a better browser. It works at the layer above: the APIs the ad platforms publish for third-party tools — Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat and Outbrain.
How Wevion Works
- OAuth connection: you connect each ad account through the platform's own authorisation flow, and grant specific permissions you can withdraw from the platform's settings at any time
- One panel: every connected account, on every connected platform, in a single interface with cross-account metrics, filtering and drill-down
- API-based operations: campaign creation, editing, pausing, budgeting and reporting all happen as API calls. No browser sessions, no fingerprints, no proxies
- It runs without you: rules are evaluated every 15 minutes server-side, and Budget Pools redistribute a daily budget every eight hours. Nothing waits for a page to render
Key Difference: Dolphin Cloud asks "how do I open and drive this session". Wevion asks "what do six platforms add up to, what should move tonight, and what did it make". Those are different questions, and they have different answers.
What Wevion Gives You That Dolphin Cloud Does Not
Beyond the connection itself, the API layer makes a set of things possible that a browser cannot express:
Automation Rules Engine
Dolphin Cloud automates the interface with recorded macros. Wevion evaluates conditions against live metrics, every 15 minutes, server-side:
- 33 condition metrics — and four of them are
profit,profit_margin,true_roasandbreak_even_roas, so a rule can act on contribution margin rather than on ROAS alone - Compound AND/OR conditions combining CPA, ROAS, frequency, spend and CTR
- Cascading rule chains where one action triggers the next
- Custom cooldowns, and budget caps on scaling rules
- An asymmetric brake: stopping autonomy halts activations, budget increases and relaunches, while pause and budget decrease keep running — the brake stops the tool spending, not the tool protecting you
- Idempotent budget mutations: a redelivered message does not double the move
- Cross-account rule application, and Telegram alerts with campaign name, metric and recommended action
Budget Pools
One daily budget, campaigns from several platforms inside it, and every eight hours the budget redistributes toward whatever is performing — respecting per-member minimums and maximums, with a simulation you can run first and an allocation log afterwards. This is the thing most "cross-platform" tools describe and do not have.
Bulk Campaign Launcher
Creating campaigns in Dolphin Cloud means opening each browser profile, navigating to Ads Manager, and building campaigns one at a time. Wevion's bulk launcher lets you create campaigns from templates across multiple accounts in a single operation.
Cross-Channel Dashboard, With the Margin In It
There is no unified view at the browser layer — you check each session separately. Wevion syncs insights every 15 minutes across all six platforms and shows them together, filtered by account, campaign, date range and metric. Ten tracker adapters plus Shopify and WooCommerce push revenue, COGS, shipping, fees and refunds into the same rows, so contribution margin per campaign, ad set and single ad is a column rather than a Monday-morning spreadsheet. There is no tax column — that one is not built.
Roles, Workspaces and an Audit Log
Sharing a profile means sharing an identity, and afterwards nobody can say who changed the budget. Wevion has a hierarchy — organization → team → workspace → access groups — with data isolation between members, and an audit log you can query in plain language.
Competitive Intelligence
Competitor ads synced from the Ad Library and analysed for angles, hooks and estimated spend, sitting next to the button that launches yours. Discovery tools sell this on its own; here it is in the same panel as the execution.
Naming Convention Enforcement
Consistent campaign naming across 20+ accounts is impossible to enforce manually. Wevion's naming convention system applies templates automatically, making reporting and analysis consistent across your entire portfolio.

The Migration Path: Dolphin Cloud to Wevion
Switching is operationally simple because your campaigns live on Meta, not in Dolphin Cloud. Here is the process:
1Step 1: Connect Your Meta Ad Accounts
Log into Wevion and connect your Meta ad accounts through OAuth. This takes under 60 seconds per account. You will need admin access to the Business Manager that owns each ad account.
2Step 2: Review Your Account Portfolio
Once connected, all your campaigns, ad sets, and ads appear in Wevion's dashboard. Review the data to confirm everything is visible and metrics match what you see in Ads Manager.
3Step 3: Build Your Automation Rules
This is where you gain the most value. Instead of manually monitoring each account through separate browser sessions, build automation rules that work across all accounts:
- Pause ad sets with CPA above your target threshold
- Scale budgets on ad sets with strong ROAS
- Receive Telegram alerts when spend exceeds daily caps
- Automatically reduce budgets when frequency gets too high
Pro Tip: Start with protective rules first — pause conditions for high CPA and budget caps for scaling rules. Add optimization rules after you are comfortable with the platform. Most users replicate and improve their manual monitoring workflow within the first week.
4Step 4: Run in Parallel
Keep Dolphin Cloud active for 1-2 weeks while you validate Wevion's management. Confirm that rule executions match your expectations, that reporting is accurate, and that your workflow is faster. Most users find they can fully transition within 7-10 days.
5Step 5: Decommission Dolphin Cloud for Meta
Once you are confident in Wevion, you can stop using Dolphin Cloud for Meta Ads. If you use Dolphin Cloud for other platforms (Google, TikTok, native ad networks), keep it for those workflows.
Where Dolphin Cloud Is Still the Right Tool
Dolphin Cloud is good at what it is built for, and an API platform cannot follow it there.
Anything with no API
Marketplaces, exchanges, ordinary websites — most of the internet publishes no ads API and never will. A browser reaches all of it. We reach six ad platforms and stop.
Ad networks outside our six
If you buy on a network we have not built an adapter for, you still need a way to work in its interface. Wevion covers Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat and Outbrain. Everything else is browser work.
E-commerce and social multi-accounting
Multiple seller accounts, multiple social profiles, multiple marketplace identities: that is browser isolation, and it is exactly the category Dolphin Cloud was designed for.
Creative uniqueization at launch
It is in their headline feature set. It is not in our product. If that step is what eats your afternoon, they solve it and we do not.
The honest conclusion: these are two layers of the same stack, not two answers to one question. If your week is spent opening sessions, the browser layer is where the work is. If it is spent stitching six platforms together and rebuilding a P&L, that is ours.
Cost Comparison: Real Numbers
Let's compare realistic monthly costs for a media buyer managing 15 Meta ad accounts.
Browser-layer stack
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Anti-detect subscription (team tier) | $159/month |
| Residential proxies (15 dedicated IPs) | $225-450/month |
| Profile management time (~10 hours/month at $50/hr) | $500/month |
| Total | $884-1,109/month, of which $500 is hours |
API-layer stack
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Wevion Pro plan | EUR 499/month |
| Proxies | EUR 0 |
| Profile management time | EUR 0 |
| Second, third or sixth ad platform | EUR 0 — included |
| Total | EUR 499/month, flat |
Two caveats, because the arithmetic above is easy to abuse. First, the biggest line on the left is time, not money — value your hours honestly and the gap changes. Second, their entry price is genuinely lower than our paid tiers: on a single network with one buyer, the cheap plan is the cheap plan. What moves the total is the second platform and the fifth seat.
What About Other Anti-Detect Browsers?
Dolphin Cloud is not the only one media buyers use — GoLogin, Multilogin, AdsPower and others solve the same browser-layer problem, each with its own strengths in fingerprint quality, team features and pricing.
Nothing in this article is an argument for picking one over another. The point is simply that none of them is trying to be an ad operations panel, in the same way that we are not trying to be a browser. Teams that need both keep both, and the two run side by side without stepping on each other.

Making the Decision
The decision framework is straightforward:
Wevion is the answer if:
- You buy on more than one ad network, or you are about to
- You want rules that run server-side on a cadence, not macros you trigger
- You need contribution margin — tracker revenue, COGS, shipping, fees, refunds — next to the spend
- One daily budget should redistribute itself across platforms every eight hours
- A team needs named accountability and a queryable audit log
- You want a flat price that does not move when your spend does
Dolphin Cloud is the answer if:
- The work spans sites and services that publish no ads API
- Multi-identity browsing is the requirement itself
- Creative uniqueization at launch is the step you need solved
- Your team is organised around profiles, with buyer and farmer roles
Both, if:
- The browser handles the sessions and the sites we do not reach, and the panel handles the six ad platforms, the rules and the margin. This is the most common outcome, and it is a sensible one.
Wevion has a permanent free plan — no credit card. Connect an ad account, build a rule, plug in your tracker, and see which half of the week it takes off your desk.
