This AdsPower review starts with a disclosure: AdsPower is one of the most widely used anti-detect browsers in performance marketing, and it is a Wevion partner. The review is written from that position: not to argue you should drop it, but to be precise about what the product does, what it was never built to do, and what a media buyer ends up needing on top once the profiles are working.
Quick answer: AdsPower is strong at the job it is built for — isolated profiles, browser fingerprints, proxy handling, team access without shared passwords, and an RPA module for repetitive browser tasks. A campaign platform is a different product category, and it lives on the layer above. What Is AdsPower? A Technical Overview
AdsPower is a Chinese-headquartered anti-detect browser founded in 2019. At its core, it is a customized Chromium-based browser that lets you create isolated browsing environments called profiles. Each profile has a unique digital fingerprint — a combination of hardware identifiers, software parameters, and browser characteristics that make it appear to websites as a completely different device.
The Core Technology Stack

Browser Profile Architecture
Each AdsPower profile operates in isolation. This means cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, and cached data are completely separated between profiles. When you log into Facebook in Profile A, that session has zero connection to Profile B. 2. Fingerprint Randomization
What it does well: AdsPower's fingerprint generation is sophisticated. It creates coherent fingerprint combinations where hardware parameters, software versions, and system characteristics are internally consistent. A profile configured as a Windows 11 machine will have matching WebGL renderers, font lists, and hardware specifications.
Where the campaign layer picks up: fingerprinting answers the question who is at the keyboard. It is a complete answer to that question and a deliberate non-answer to the next one — what happens to the campaigns inside the account — which is decided by the API connection, not by the browser rendering the page. Identity and operations are two jobs, and it is healthy that one product does not try to do both.
3. Team Collaboration
What it does well: AdsPower supports team environments with role-based profile sharing. An admin can create profiles and grant access to team members without sharing the underlying Facebook credentials. Team members can use assigned profiles from their own machines via cloud synchronization.
Where the campaign layer picks up: the collaboration model here is profile-based, which is the right shape for access — a colleague gets the profile, not the password. Permissions expressed in advertising terms (this person can read reports, that one can move a budget), approval steps on budget changes and a queryable log of who changed what and when are campaign-level concepts, and they live where the campaigns are managed.
4. API Access
What it does well: AdsPower provides a local API that allows external scripts and tools to interact with browser profiles programmatically. You can launch profiles, close them, retrieve profile lists, and manage configuration through HTTP endpoints.
Where the campaign layer picks up: this API is a browser-control API, and it does that job cleanly — open a profile, close it, list them, configure them. Campaign data, spend metrics and ad management functions come from the ad platform's own Marketing API, which is a separate connection and the thing a campaign platform is built around. The two APIs sit next to each other in a well-built stack.
5. Cookie Robot and Import
What it does well: The cookie robot feature automatically visits a configurable list of websites to build up a browsing history and cookie profile that makes the browser profile appear "lived in" rather than freshly created. You can also import cookies from existing sessions, which is useful for migrating account access between machines.
Where the campaign layer picks up: nothing here touches campaign operations, and that is the point — cookie history is identity work, done in the browser, on your machine. What you launch, when budgets move and whether the campaign made money are answered on the other side of the OAuth token, in a system that never sees the browser at all.
6. Proxy Management
What it does well: AdsPower integrates with multiple proxy protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5) and supports proxy assignment per profile. You can set up automatic proxy rotation and test proxy connectivity from within the interface.
Where the campaign layer picks up: proxies are their own line item in any browser-layer setup — billed by the proxy vendor, priced by bandwidth and geography, and scaling with the number of profiles rather than with the browser subscription. Budget them as a separate recurring cost when you size the stack. The campaign layer, by contrast, is priced by ad accounts under management and needs no IPs at all.
AdsPower Pricing: How to Read It
We are not printing their price table here, and that is a deliberate choice. Pricing in the anti-detect category changes several times a year. A number frozen into a review is worse than no number, because it quietly makes a decision for you on data that expired months ago — and most comparison articles in this space are doing exactly that right now.
Open adspower.com's own pricing page on the day you decide. Then read it with three questions in hand:
- How many profiles does the plan actually give you, and how many do you need in twelve months? Profile ceilings are where plans jump, not where they start.
- How many seats, and what does a second seat see? Team access is the line item that surprises people.
- What is not in the subscription? Proxies are the honest answer, and for most setups they are the larger and more variable half of the bill. A residential IP per profile is a recurring cost that has nothing to do with the browser vendor.

This is the useful part of any review: not a scorecard, but a clear line showing which product owns which half of the work. The half above the line is campaign operations, and it is API work by nature:

The profiles are not the constraint at that point — the profiles are working. Everything after the login is where the day goes.

Who Should Use AdsPower
