FBTool Alternative: For When the Media Plan Is No Longer Just Facebook
Most people typing "FBTool alternative" into a search box are not unhappy with FBTool. They have added a second channel — Google, TikTok, a native network — and discovered that a tool built entirely around Facebook does exactly one thing brilliantly and nothing else at all. The search is not about escaping a product. It is about stopping the reconciliation of two panels by hand on Monday morning.
Quick answer: FBTool.pro is a Facebook specialist, and specialists are hard to beat on their own surface. The reason to look elsewhere is coverage: Wevion connects, bulk-launches, publishes, syncs and measures across Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat and Outbrain from one panel, puts your tracker and store revenue next to the spend as margin per campaign, and lets rules act on that margin. If Facebook is your whole plan, stay where you are.
What FBTool.pro is for, in their own terms
Worth being accurate about, because a comparison that misrepresents the other side is worthless to the reader:
- A Facebook product, on purpose. Everything in it points at the same channel.
- An account-recovery workflow. Unban requests, review of rejected ads, statistics that survive after an account is gone. This is in their published feature set and it is not in ours.
- A lower entry price than our paid plans.
- A Russian-speaking community and support channels on the platforms this market already uses.
If those four lines describe your week, the honest recommendation is to keep what you have. What follows is for the week after the second channel arrives.
What actually changes with a six-platform panel
One grid launches on more than one platform
The bulk launcher is a spreadsheet-shaped grid: one row is one campaign, and each row carries its own platform. That means a single sheet can launch on Meta and Google in the same run, rather than being exported, reformatted and re-uploaded per channel. Row limits go by plan — 200 on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, unlimited on Plus.
Alongside it: reusable launch templates, campaign drafts you can review before publishing, bulk on/off at campaign level on all six platforms, and a launch rollback — which is Meta only, and we say so rather than letting you find out.
The revenue arrives next to the spend
This is the part that no Facebook-only tool can do, because the data does not live on Facebook.
Nine tracker adapters connect straight into the ad manager — Keitaro, RedTrack, Binom, Voluum, ClickFlare, BeMob, Everflow, ExoClick, TrafficManager — including the ones a client self-hosts, which no BI connector catalogue will ever carry. Shopify and WooCommerce come in as full integrations rather than a webhook, with refunds attributed down to the individual ad and cost of goods frozen at the moment of the order.
The result is a contribution-margin view per campaign, per ad set and per single ad: spend, revenue_gross, revenue_net, refunds, cogs_total, shipping_cost, processing_fees, contribution_profit, contribution_margin, true_roas, break_even_roas.
One honest gap, stated up front: there is no tax column. COGS, shipping and processing fees are there; VAT and sales tax are not.
Rules that read the margin, and a brake as well as a pedal
Rule conditions can read 33 metrics, four of which are profit, profit_margin, true_roas and break_even_roas. A rule that pauses an ad set when contribution margin drops under a threshold is a normal rule here, not a scripting project.
The counted version of what rules can do, because the honest number is not the same on every platform:
| Rule action | Platforms | Which ones |
|---|---|---|
| Pause / activate a campaign | 6 | all |
| Pause / activate an ad set or a single ad | 3 | Meta, TikTok, Snapchat |
| Change budget | 5 | Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat |
| Compare one platform against another in the same condition | 4 | Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola |
| Relaunch an ad | 1 | Meta |
| Notify only | 6 | all |
On Outbrain you still change budgets by hand and through Wavo — just not from the rule engine.
Three details that matter more than the count:
- Cadence. Rules evaluate every 15 minutes.
- An asymmetric brake. Stopping autonomy halts activations, budget increases and relaunches, while
pauseanddecrease budgetkeep running. The safe direction stays open. - Idempotent budget moves. A redelivered queue message never doubles the change.
One daily budget across platforms: Budget Pools
Declare a single daily budget, put campaigns from several platforms inside it, choose the optimisation metric and the scoring window, and every eight hours by default the pool moves budget toward what is performing — respecting per-member minimums and maximums, with a simulation you can run first and a log written after. It runs on all six platforms.
Wavo, the copilot that writes — with the brake on
Wavo works on the same data and writes into the accounts on all six platforms. Tools in approval mode wait for a human click; executed parameters are re-read from the database rather than taken from the model's message; default guardrails are EUR 50 per single action and EUR 200 per day per team, and they are yours to change. You do not pick a model from a list — you pick a mode: fast, smart or expert. It can also query the audit log in plain language: who changed this budget, and when.
Things a Facebook-only tool has no reason to build
- Competitive intelligence that discovers competitors, syncs their ads from the Meta Ad Library and extracts angles and hooks — sitting next to the launch button rather than in a separate subscription.
- Creative fatigue scoring across all six platforms, weighted CTR 35%, frequency 30%, CPM 20%, CPC 15%, and scored against the ad's own first days rather than an account average.
- Audience Hub, with performance comparison between audiences — on three platforms: Meta, Google, TikTok.
- Teams: organisation → team → workspace → access groups, two-factor authentication, an audit log you can query in plain language, and support impersonation. Published limits: 100 workspaces, 50 teams, 200 memberships.
- An MCP server and a CLI on a single API key, from the Pro plan up.
How Wevion connects to Meta
Through Meta's official Marketing API with OAuth. You authenticate on Meta's own page, choose which ad accounts, Business Managers and pixels to grant, and Meta issues a scoped token. We never see your password, and you can revoke the token from Meta Business Settings without changing it.
One thing we will not tell you: that any tool makes an account safe. It does not. Advertisers get restricted for what is in the ad, the targeting and the landing page, and that is between you and Meta whatever software sits in front of it. What we can describe is our own behaviour — official endpoints, server-side rate limiting, and every write starting life as a request that waits for someone to press.
Pricing
| Plan | Price | What it opens |
|---|---|---|
| Free | EUR 0 | 3 accounts per platform, 1 seat, all campaign launch tools, Wavo, 14 days of history |
| Starter | EUR 99/mo | 5 accounts per platform, 2 seats, bulk launcher up to 200 rows, 12 months of history |
| Pro | EUR 499/mo | 25 accounts per platform, 5 seats, bulk launcher up to 1,000 rows, MCP server and CLI, 24 months of history |
| Plus | EUR 1,499/mo | Ad accounts scale with the plan, 10 seats, white-label PDF reports, full history |
The price is keyed to how many accounts you manage, not how much you spend, so it does not move when your spend does. The free plan is permanent, which means every claim on this page is checkable without a credit card.
Our entry price is above FBTool.pro's, and that gap is real. What it buys is the other five platforms and the margin view. For their current pricing, open their page — we do not republish a competitor's prices without reopening the source the day we publish ours.
Who should not switch
- If Facebook is your entire media plan and no second channel is coming, a specialist beats a generalist on its own surface. Stay.
- If the account-recovery workflow is a large part of your week — unban requests, rejected-ad reviews — that is in their product and not in ours.
- If you need non-advertising Facebook management (pages, groups), that is outside our scope entirely.
- If your P&L needs tax inside the profitability view, that column is not built.
Migrating, if you decide to
There is nothing to move. Campaigns, ad sets, ads, audiences and pixels live in your Meta ad accounts, not inside a tool. Connect those accounts through OAuth and they appear with their history. Rebuild your recurring checks as rules, run both systems side by side for a few days, then decide. The detailed version is in the step-by-step migration guide; the feature-by-feature version is in FBTool vs Wevion.
The short version
An FBTool alternative is only worth looking for when the shape of the work has changed. If it has — if there is a second channel in the plan, if you are paid on margin rather than on spend, if more than one person needs a login with a role attached — then the thing you want is a panel over six platforms with the revenue sitting next to the cost, and rules that can read it.
There is a permanent free plan. Connect one account and check every number on this page against the product before you decide anything.
